All of the rules that I am likely to refer to during play, in one place.
Honestly I find the layout of the Weird Wizard a bit difficult to work with. Frequently a section will begin on one page and then spill over to the next, which requires some page flipping. Rob Schwalb's writing style is great, he accomplishes a lot in a short space. The Shadow book does tend to include some waffle text around the rules. I eliminate that. I also use bullet points rather than a paragraph of statements, because I find that easier to mentally check off during play.
